Terms of Service

The service

LinkCrate lets you save links, automatically organizes them using AI, and lets you search your saved links in plain language. Features and limits may change as the product evolves — see the changelog for what's shipped.

Accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old to use LinkCrate.
• You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
• Guest accounts are temporary and capped at 3 saved links — create a real account to keep using LinkCrate beyond that.
• You're responsible for the content you save and any note you add — don't save content you don't have the right to save, or that's illegal, abusive, or infringes someone else's rights.

Plans, billing, and refunds

• Starter is free and includes a monthly link limit. Beginner and Pro are paid plans billed via Razorpay, each with their own higher monthly limit.
• Upgrading to a higher plan is charged immediately at that plan's price. Downgrading or cancelling a paid plan never takes effect right away — you keep the plan you paid for until your current billing period ends, then move to the plan you chose (or Starter, if you cancelled). You can undo a scheduled change anytime before it takes effect.
• Refunds: if you're not satisfied with a Beginner or Pro purchase, email brainopediaconsultants@gmail.com within 7 days of payment for a full refund. After 7 days, payments are non-refundable, but you can still cancel anytime to stop future charges.
• You can change or cancel your plan at any time from your Profile page.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use LinkCrate for anything illegal, or to store or share content that violates someone else's rights.
• Attempt to abuse, overload, or scrape the service, or bypass rate limits or usage caps.
• Create multiple guest or free accounts to circumvent plan limits.
• Reverse-engineer or resell access to the service.

I may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practical.

Your content, my software

You own the links, notes, and folders you save. LinkCrate and its branding, design, and underlying software are owned by Arun Raghavan Menon. Using the service doesn't transfer any of that to you.

AI-generated content

Topics, tags, summaries, and Ask's answers are generated by AI and may occasionally be inaccurate or incomplete. Don't rely on them for anything where accuracy is critical.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

LinkCrate is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, I'm not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, and my total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid in the 3 months before the claim, if any.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change materially, I'll post an update here and note it in the changelog. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, with courts in Kerala having jurisdiction.
